A sniffle escaped her lips as she shakily wiped away the tears that were falling down her face, the hurtful words of her father still rung in her head.
“You're pathetic, you stupid girl.”
Or .
“Nobody would love you, you're ugly, the neighbor is prettier than you.”
She sniffled and continued to wipe her eyes as the tears continued to fall down her cheeks. She looked to the sky as it was grey and glum, a clear sign rain was rolling in as the faint rumble of thunder was heard in the distance. She shook her head and ran forward as the rain began to fall, the taunts from her father rung in her head as her vision was blurred from the tears. She shook her head and sniffled.
She hated it, hated the fact he was right, her father had started to be like this since her mother had ran off with another man. She sniffed and wiped her eyes as she ran down the street once more.
She came to a stop and looked to the sky as it began to rain, the tears still rolling down her cheeks as she allowed herself to get wet from the rain that was pouring from the sky, the thunder getting closer as the rumble was more louder than the first time as a flash danced across the sky. (e/c) eyes closed. People around her ran off in an attempt to find somewhere to stay dry from the heavy downpour, she merely stood there. She lowered her head and calmly walked off as she began to get soaked, but she could care less.
The rain was washing the hurt away, it was making her numb, numb from the pain she had endured off her father she thought she could of trusted, but no, he was a hurtful man, a man who shattered her trust on him and his side of the family, she continued to run, but then bumped into someone, she squeaked from shock and fright. _____ looked up to see who she bumped into. To her surprise it was Clint Barton.
Clint turned around and faced the woman in shock.
“_____?” He asked in surprise
“Clint.” She whimpered.
He frowned to see the tears still rolling down her face as she sniffled. He wiped the tears and rain. from her cheeks.
“You're gonna get a cold standing out here.” He told her. “Or maybe even hypothermia.”
She said nothing and looked to the floor. Clint's frown only deepened.
“Who need an arrow up the ass this time?”
She let out a shaky laugh from that comment. Clint gave a tiny smile, a bit relived he got her to laugh.
“Come on, Stark tower isn't that far.”

They reached the upper flooring where they were greeted by Tony and Bruce after Clint had rung them to give them a warning. Bruce handed _____ a towel so she could dry herself.
“Alright bird boy, what's wrong with dollface?” Tony asked. “I hate it when I see a pretty girl upset.”
Clint shrugged. “I don't know, she had bumped into me.”
The two men looked as she was guided down the hall with Bruce so she could get changed, luckily Tony had warned JARVIS about her arrival so clothes could get picked for her.
“Talk to her bird boy, tell me so we could kick the asses responsible.”
Clint rolled his eyes and walked off down the hall.
(----)
He entered the room where _____ was taken to. She sat on the bed. Looking to the floor her cheeks were puffy from crying and her (h/c) hair was a darker shade of colour due to the rain.
“So, what happened?” Clint asked.
“A-Am I Ugly a-and p-pathetic?” She hiccuped out.
“What? No! Who the hell been saying that crap?” Clint asked her.
“M-My D-Dad.” She whimpered.
Nothing else was said, he grabbed her cheeks each and made her face him.
“C-Clint?” She squeaked.
“You're neither of those and I'm gonna damn well show it.”
He pressed his lips to hers, her heart pounding in her chest as cheeks heated up from the unexpected kiss she was getting, not that she was complaining, it was...So unexpected.
“Ugh, I don't need any mental scarring thanks.”
The two of them pulled away to see Tony at the door with his arms crossed. Clint rolled his eyes as _____ smiled slightly.
“So, who's the person we gotta hurt?”
“Really?” She asked.
Tony shrugged. “Like I said, I hate it when I see pretty girls get upset.”
He walked off as she tilt her head.
“Don't listen to your dad, you're perfect to me.”
Clint told her.
She blushed as Clint got up from the bed and walked off, a smile appeared on her lips as her fingers hovered over her lips. She looked to the door but said nothing else. She giggled to herself.
(----)
It had been a good two weeks since the kiss, both _____ and Clint were going strong, she had taken an offer to stay in Stark tower after Tony insisted she should.
“Well, well, still alive wench.”
She frowned to see it was her father as he was sneering his head off. She said nothing.
“Nice to see you to.” She said dryly.
He stopped sneering and glared at her. “What was that.”
“Oh, nothing.”
“Your attitude stinks.”
He stalked over to her, but he paused as someone tapped his shoulder, he turned around and shrieked as an arrow was pointing at his head.
“Did you shriek like a girl?” Clint asked as his girlfriend giggled.
“No I didn't!” He denied.
“I think you did.” _____ teased.
“Shut up you!”
_____ said nothing but simply walked up to Clint and placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Forget him, he's not worth it.” She told him.
She smiled as Clint placed his bow and arrow away and the two began to walk off.
“Bother her again and you may have an arrow up the ass.” Clint warned him.
Her father watched dumbfounded as the two walked off.
She giggled as a kiss was placed on her neck. Clint smiled and tossed her over his shoulder. She gasped and blushed then giggled.
“Say, Stark tower isn't too far.”
She blushed once more as Clint ran off and headed towards said tower.

“(Name) and Clint, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G,” Tony sang, following (Name) around the halls of Stark Tower.
“Shut up, Tony. You're acting like a second grader,” she replied trying not to show how much Tony's teasing was pissing her off. Couldn't he go bother Bruce or something? She had been teased by everyone for liking Clint Barton. (Name) just didn't understand why everyone was acting so immature.

Stay (TonyxReader)
You sighed as you carded your fingers through your boyfriend's dark hair. This was the first time he was able to spend the night with you in your apartment for three months now.
Which meant in those months you went to bed alone each and every night. It was sad, really, but you took what you could get.
Tony was married. His wife was the infamous Pepper Potts, and Tony had told you exactly a year and a half ago that he didn't feel the same connection he did before with her for years, and that he felt one with you.
He also said the connection he felt with you was ten times stronger than it ever had been with Pepper, but you were a bit skeptic

Snow Angels (ClintxReader) One-Shot
"It's freezing out here," You grumbled, tugging your scarf tighter around your neck. "I should have worn three sweaters and a pair of leggings underneath my jeans."
"But then you'll be as big as Santa and if you fall, God knows how hard it's going to be to get you to stand up again."
You squinted your eyes at the archer who laughed his head off at the very thought of you rolling around in the snow helplessly. But you were right. It was freezing and Clint really could use a mug of hot chocolate about now. The two of you were almost home and would've driven there except your car had run out of gas about a mile back and the nearest gas station
