“It shall be a boy.”

“No it won't! A girl!”

“No, a boy.”

“Girl!”

“Boy!”

“The baby will be a girl!”

“Darling, it will be a boy!”

A scoff.

Thor watched as his brother Loki and sister-in-law _____ argue over the gender of their unborn baby. They had been arguing about the gender since she had fallen pregnant, she insisted it will be a little girl while Loki is saying the baby will be a boy.

“I'm telling you now! It will be a girl.”

Loki gave a tiny smirk to his wife as she glared at him. Thor said nothing but observed, the last time he had interfered she had yelled at him and Loki gave him a death glare, he wasn't going to go through that again, so the god of thunder decided he was just simply an observer in this argument. And besides.

Women are unpredictable when pregnant.

“You agree with me, right?”

Thor snapped out of his thought, she was now looking and talking to him, oh boy, how will this end out.

“I am not certain.” Thor admitted.

She huffed and luckily for him, she didn't unleash her wrath on him.

“We'll find out when the baby is born.” She grumbled.

Loki chuckled and gave her a quick kiss on the forehead. She pouted at him, as much as he wanted to jump on her and attack those lips, he couldn't, not while his unborn child was still inside his wife, the last thing he wanted to do was cause distress for both baby and mother to be.

Days had passed since their argument, and she was due any day now. She breathed out slowly and rubbed her swollen belly.

“The sooner I give birth the better.” She mumbled.

A sigh escaped her mouth, her back was in agony, she didn't known why, but it was, and the baby was very restless which wasn't helping the situation. She mumbled once again, continuing to rub her belly.

“Soon.” She sighed. “Very soon.”

She closed her eyes but opened them and gasped as a ripple of pain hit her hard. She chuckled despite the pain.

“I-I guess you want to come now.”

She let out a gasp and bit her bottom lip and Thor's timing was absolutely perfect.

“Lady _____, are you alright?” Thor asked in concern.

“Th-The baby is coming.” She gasped.

Loki grumbled as he walked down the hall, there was a problem and he had to deal with it, why him?

“Brother!”

Loki came to a stop as Thor approached him in a hurry.

“What is it!” He growled.

“Lady _____ is having the child.”

“What! When!”

“Not to long ago, I had found her in pain.”

She held onto the bundle, correction, bundles in stunned silence. She soon chuckled.

“You are certainly a surprise.” She cooed to the baby wrapped in purple silks.

A gurgle was the response she had. She grinned just as the door burst open and her husband rushed in. _____ looked up. She giggled to see Loki looking to one bundle to the other.

“Now why don't you come over here and see them, I promise they won't bite.”

He approached her. “Two.” He mumbled. “You had twins.”

She tiled her head. “Yes, I was surprised myself, I guess the second baby was hiding behind the first and that's why I was told we were having the one.”

He sat next to her on the edge of the bed. She shifted the bundles in her arms as she got comfortable. A tired smile appeared on her lips and it was understandable.

“And no we both win the gender argument.”

He glanced at her and then to the two babies in her arms.

“Really? I was hoping they would be both boys.”

She shot him a glare as he smirked at her.

“I pushed out two babies and you're still going on about the gender!” She hissed.

“Calm down love, I was kidding.”

“...”

“...Please don't start the silent treatment on me.”
